Getting back to my friendship with Howard Young… I always called him Howdy. I can only remember one time that we really had a little falling out. That was a time when I was up north deer hunting, and I found out that he had taken my Ardis to Detroit to a naked girlie show. When I confronted him with it, he laughed and said, "OK, you took my girl out, now we're even." So, we forgot it. But, I reminded him to not take my girl to any more burlesque shows. I might mention that these episodes were in 1937 and 38.
